in these pages You can find a short introduction of me and my dance school in english, because some of our clients and partners use english rather than finnish language.

Our mission is to provide high quality dance experiences to people of different ages. We offer opportunities for studying dance, performing and watching and experiencing dance performances. We rent costumes, also for groups. We sell dance shoes and other dance accessories. We arrange training for dance instructors. We organize dance events and other cultural and sports events. We also produce dance teaching materials.

Holiday with Zumba / BellyFitness / Latin dances in Alanya (Turkey) 11.5.-18.5.2012

Price will be payed in april 2012. You can join us even if you don't want to zumba. Price is still the same. Children between 2-14 years -100 €, when stays for two paying adults in the same room. Double room (studio) for single +70€.

If you live in Alanya or Turkey and want to join us, please contact. There is only a little fee for lessons. You are welcome single or with dance partner or with friends.

How I became me...

I graduated as a nurse in 1993 in Tampere, specialized for psychiatric care. Music and dance were already at this time important hobbies for me. 1997 I started to dance more and 2001 I started studying as a dance teacher. Now I am a dance teacher and I also have Zumba ZIN license and Senior Dance Regional Trainer license (Ikäinstituutti).

I founded a dance school february 2006, and it's called Tanssikoulu Aurinko (Dance School Sun). It's more than job or hobby, it's style of life and it's just what I wanna do.

Now I've been teachind dance students little bit more than 10 years, and I like it a lot. My youngest students are 3 years old and the oldest almost 80 years of age. I also arrange dance lessons for specific groups like people with mental health problems, mentally or physically handicapped, heart sick people etc.
